
Alaska's Smith Suspended Three Games

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that it has suspended
Alaska left wing Jeff Smith for three games as a result of his actions
following ECHL Game #183 at Bakersfield on Nov. 25.
Smith was assessed a major and game misconduct penalty for spearing and a
Physical Abuse of Officials game misconduct under Rule 41 Category III
which is an automatic three-game suspension.
Smith will miss Alaska's games at Victoria (Nov. 29), at Victoria (Dec. 1)
and at Victoria (Dec. 2).
