The Victoria Royals defeated the Kelowna Rockets 3-1 on Friday night in WHL action in Kelowna, scoring three straight third period goals to earn the win.
The Royals erased a 1-0 Rockets lead with three goals in a span of 5:15 in the third period to snap the Rockets three game winning streak.
Myles Bell had the only goal for the Rockets, opening the scoring midway through the second period on a nice wrist shot. Goalie Adam Brown turned aside 34 Victoria shots in a losing cause.
Logan Nelson, Jamie Crooks and Brett Cote scored for Victoria.
