ValleyCats and Miners Paused Due to Rain

TROY, NY - The 2021 home season would not have been complete for the Tri-City ValleyCats if not for yet another game hindered by rain. The 'Cats' second game of the mid-week series against Northeast Division rival Sussex County was suspended due to rain in the top of the third inning to set up a doubleheader for the final home action of the season.

The 'Cats and the Miners will pick up the halted contest on Thursday, September 9 at 4:00 PM and play it to its nine-inning completion before embarking on a seven-inning game to end the team's 52-game home campaign.

Any ticket that was purchased for Wednesday's contest may be exchanged for a ticket to a future ValleyCats home game during the 2021 season, including potential playoff games. . Ticket exchanges for games postponed due to rain may be made by visiting the ValleyCats' box office at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium or calling them at 518-629-CATS (2287).

The ValleyCats will end the home season tomorrow night with Hawaiian Night and Fans For Life Night, with postgame fireworks presented by Price Chopper and Market 32 following the conclusion of game two.
