Utah Native D.J. Jelitto Returns to Grizzlies

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach/General Manager Tim Branham announced today that the team has signed Utah native D.J. Jelitto.

"DJ is a big body with an offensive upside," said Branham. "He is a great addition to our team and will add depth to our lineup."

Jelitto, a forward from West Valley City, played for the Grizzlies to start his professional career from 2005-2007, before playing two seasons in the Central Hockey League and the last four years in Germany. He has totaled 133 goals and 141 goals for 274 points in 416 games.

The six-foot-three forward had 15 goals and 14 assists for 29 points in 70 games with Utah in 2006-2007 and totaled seven goals and six assists for 13 points in 48 games during his rookie season in 2005-2006.

The Grizzlies are off until Friday and Saturday when they will kickoff November in Stockton. Face-offs both nights are at 8:30 p.m.

Utah is back home Friday, November 9; Saturday, November 10 and Monday, November 11 when Ontario will be at Maverik Center for three-straight 7:05 p.m. face-offs. November 10 is "Pooch on the Pond" and a post-game skate with $2 skate rentals. November 11 is Maverik Monday. Fans can purchase six tickets for $30 with a receipt from Maverik at the arena box office.
