Wranglers Give Back Two Ways over Three-Game Series

Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas - With only three home games in November, the Las Vegas Wranglers will support and give back to the local community in two ways this upcoming weekend. The team will hold their fifth annual "Stuff The Bus" food drive in honor of Three Square Food Bank, and will also give active and retired military members free admission all weekend.
From 4 - 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 2, fans who bring a minimum of five non-perishable items to donate will receive one voucher for a $1 ticket to an upcoming Wranglers game. The team's goal is to "stuff the bus" provided by Arrow Stage Lines to benefit Three Square Food Bank for the fifth season in a row. The fan who donates the largest number of items will win a pair of 12-game mini plans for the 2013-14 season.
"We're so thrilled to rekindle this partnership with the Wranglers and have the opportunity to give back to great community organizations such as Three Square," said Darlene Mullins, General Manager of Arrow Stage Lines. "I've personally volunteered with the food bank for years, so this is a perfect fit for all of us."
Three Square Food Bank is always in need of high-protein items like canned meat (tuna, chicken, Spam, etc.), dried and canned beans, canned soup, macaroni and cheese, rice, canned and powdered milk, and personal hygiene products. Volunteers will also be accepting cash donations at the two Wranglers games. Expired cans, soda cans, and unusable items will not be accepted at the donation station.
In addition to "Stuff The Bus," the Wranglers will also celebrate Military Appreciation Weekend from Nov. 1-3 due to the team's road schedule. Active and retired military personnel, with ID, and their immediate families will receive free admission to the team's three games this weekend against the Fort Wayne Komets. Thor will be live on the concourse on Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 2, as well, and the team will hold a free post-game skate with the players after Sunday's contest.
The Wranglers play the Florida Everblades tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. before the only three home games of November start Friday. The first 1,000 fans at Tuesday's game will receive the first of two free Hux Pucks, themed after Wranglers fan favorite left wing Adam Huxley.
Season tickets for the Wranglers' 11th season are on sale now. The Wranglers offer flexible payment options on all plans, and 2013-14 packages start at just $200. Full season tickets can be reserved for as low as 25 percent down, and include benefits such as buddy passes, exclusive team events, and merchandise discounts.
