
Usual Suspects Return to Falcons Lineup for Kelly Cup Chase

Fresno,CA...The Fresno Falcons will face off against the Utah Grizzlies in the first round of the ECHL National Conference Kelly Cup Playoffs in a best of seven series that starts Sunday and Monday in Fresno. Games 3,4, and 5 will be played in Utah April 16,18, and 19 with Games 6 and 7 played in Fresno on April 21 and 23. Games 5,6,7 are of course, "if necessary" contests. Tickets for Sunday's 5pm Game 1 and the Monday, April 14, 7pm Game 2 are on sale at the Save Mart Center and Ticketmaster.
The Falcons march in to the playoffs with all hands on deck. ECHL All-Stars Oren Eizenman and Kenny MacAulay return to the lineup following their recent call ups to the American Hockey League. Coach Matt Thomas and the Falcons finished the regular season with 92 points (42-22-4-4-) and a second place finish in the Pacific Division and the National Conference. The Falcons will practice at 10am this morning at Save Mart Center before continuing their playoff training camp at Gateway Ice Center the remainder of the week.
Falcons fans can meet and greet the Falcons at a Playoff Rally Thursday night at Logan's Roadhouse from 7-9pm. Season ticket holders may pick up their playoff tickets at the Falcons offices or at Logan's on Thursday. Fans who purchase their 2008-2009 Selland Arena Season Tickets earn free playoff tickets.
