
Cincinnati Cyclones Announce Playoff Roster

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL have announced their playoff roster for the upcoming Kelly Cup playoffs The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate for the Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators of the NHL.
Each ECHL team can designate 23 players to its postseason roster. There are no additions that can be made to this list unless an emergency situation arises. The only players that can be utilized in those circumstances are those who completed the season with amateur standing (college or junior players are usually the norm).
For the Kelly Cup playoffs, the Cyclones will use 13 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders. The breakdown of players and positions is located at the bottom of this release.
The 13 forwards have 153 games in the AHL this season and combined for eleven goals and 25 assists for 36 points. At the ECHL level, those players have 563 games this season, with 213 goals, 315 assists and 528 points.
The eight defensemen have 127 games in the AHL in 2007-08, with a combined total of four goals and 13 assists for 17 points. In Cincinnati, they accumulated 230 games with 16 goals, 68 assists and 84 points.
The goaltending tandem was 6-7-3 at the AHL level in 19 games with a 2.87 goals against average and a .907 save percentage. In 36 games with the Cyclones, they were 27-7-2 with a 2.19 goals against average and a .923 save percentage.

The Cincinnati Cyclones play host to Johnstown or Dayton on Friday night (April 11) and Saturday night (April 12) at 7:30pm at U.S. Bank Arena.
