Tyler Biggs to Have Season-Ending Surgery

The Toronto Marlies announced today that forward Tyler Biggs will have surgery to repair a partially torn Achilles tendon and will be out for the remainder of the season. The injury occurred in the first period of the Marlies March 6th game against the Adirondack Flames. Biggs, 21, has appeared in 47 games for the Marlies registering two goals and three assists along with 56 penalty minutes.

The Marlies return to the ice tonight when they host the Lehigh Valley Phantoms at 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the team's ticket line at 416-597-PUCK (7825) or by visiting marlies.ca.
