Fri., Mar. 6 - Penguins 3 at MANCHESTER 6
Jordan Weal compiled two goals and an assist to lead the Monarchs to a 6-3 win that snapped the Penguins' 10-game point streak. W-B/Scranton's Carter Rowney matched an AHL career high for points in a game, recording three assists.
Sat., Mar. 7 - Penguins 3 at MANCHESTER 0
Matt Murray turned aside all 32 shots he faced, recording his fourth consecutive shutout and helping the Penguins bounce back for a 3-0 victory over Manchester. Matia Marcantuoni, Conor Sheary and Tom Kuhnhackl (SHG) each found the back of the net for the Penguins.
Sun., Mar. 8 - Penguins 4 at SPRINGFIELD 1
Andrew Ebbett (1G-1A), Tom Kostopoulos (1G-1A) and Conor Sheary (2A) all recorded multi-point games as W-B/Scranton defeated Springfield, 4-1. Matt Murray once again made 32 saves to earn his seventh straight win and, in the process, set the new AHL shutout streak record at 304:11.

Sat., Mar. 14 - PENGUINS vs. Hershey
Owning a record of 36-16-5-2, the Bears sit in the top spot in the East Division and hold a five point lead over the Penguins. Tim Kennedy is tied for the AHL lead with 42 assists, while defenseman Jon Landry ranks first in the league with a +24 plus-minus rating.
Sun., Mar. 15 - PENGUINS vs. Hartford
Winless in their last six games, Hartford (30-21-5-3) has dropped into a tie for eighth place in the Eastern Conference, but remains third in the Northeast Division. Chris Bourque is tied for fifth in the league with 50 points (22G-28A) in 58 games.
Ice Chips
- Matt Murray earned his third accolade in the last four weeks as he was named CCM/AHL Player of the Week after allowing one goal on 65 shots during two starts last weekend.
- At 2:56 of the second period on Sunday at Springfield, Murray broke Barry Brust's shutout streak (268:17) set in 2012. The Penguins netminder allowed a goal with 1:11 left in regulation, setting the new record at 304:11.
- Murray currently leads the AHL in goals against average (1.57), save percentage (.940) and shutouts (9). He has won 10 of his last 11 starts, while posting six shutouts.
- With a goal and an assist on Sunday, Andrew Ebbett now has 12 points (6G-6A) in his last eight games and leads the Penguins with 10 multi-point contests this season.
- W-B/Scranton has a record of 28-4-1-0 when scoring first for a .864 winning percentage - the best mark in the AHL.
- The Penguins' magic number is 29.
