Tuesday's Adam West appearance at BCB to be rescheduled

ALTOONA- The Altoona Curve today announced that Adam West ("Batman") will not be making his scheduled "Curve Retro Celebrity Series" appearance during Tuesday's 7:05 PM game at Blair County Ballpark due to personal reasons. The Curve are currently working with Mr. West to reschedule his visit to Blair County Ballpark for a date during the month of August and the club will announce that date once it is mutually agreed upon by the two parties.
West was first scheduled to appear at Blair County Ballpark on Tuesday, May 23rd, but that appearance had to be rescheduled for July 25th. As a result, fans holding unused tickets for the games of Tuesday, May 23rd or Tuesday, July 25th can exchange their tickets ONLY for the soon-to-be-announced rescheduled date by visiting the Curve Ticket Office at Blair County Ballpark. Fans with questions regarding the exchange of tickets can call the Curve Ticket Office toll-free at (877) 99-CURVE.
Tuesday's 7:05 PM game against the Harrisburg Senators (AA/Washington Nationals) will still feature post-game fireworks and Tuesday night Karaoke. Ballpark gates will open to the general public at 6 PM.
As part of the 2006 Retro Celebrity Series, the Curve are hosting stars throughout the season from some of the most popular shows in television history. Richard Moll ("Bull Shannon" from Night Court), Erik Estrada ("Ponch" from CHiPS), Barry Williams ("Greg Brady" from The Brady Bunch), Jamie Farr ("Cpl. Klinger" from M*A*S*H), Sherman Hemsley ("George Jefferson" from The Jeffersons) and Jerry Mathers ("Beaver Cleaver" from Leave It To Beaver) have already made appearances at Blair County Ballpark and four other appearances, in addition to West's rescheduled date, are scattered throughout the remainder of the schedule.

- Dawn Wells ("Mary Ann" from Gilligan's Island) on August 22
