Tuesday Night's Curve Game Postponed

CURVE, Pa. - Tuesday night's scheduled game between the Altoona Curve and Akron Aeros has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, May 21st with Game 1 beginning at 5 p.m. The doubleheader will consist of two, seven-inning contests.

Those fans that have tickets to Tuesday night's (May 3rd) contest at Blair County Ballpark can exchange them for any other remaining 2011 Altoona Curve game for equal or lesser value based on availability.

Altoona and Akron will play as scheduled on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening up at 5:30 p.m. The game is the first What We're Watching Wednesday - "LOST - Locke and Locke" at Blair County Ballpark in 2011 and also a Ponderosa Four Pack Wednesday. For each Wednesday home game this season, fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs and four regular sodas for just $30.

RHP Mike Colla (1-1, 4.15) will make his second start for the Curve while LHP T.J. McFarland (1-0, 2.89) throws for the Aeros. Airtime on ESPN Radio 1430, WVAM and the Curve Radio Network is set for 6 p.m.
