Rain Forces B-Mets Postponement

BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Mets 6:35pm game against the Erie SeaWolves has been postponed due to inclement weather. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader at NYSEG Stadium on May 31 at 5:35 PM. The teams will play two seven-inning contests with gates opening at 5:00 PM for the twin bill.

Tuesday's rainout represents the fifth postponement this season for the Binghamton club and their third at home. The B-Mets had six postponements in the 2010 season, five of which came at home.

Ticketholders for tonight's game can redeem their ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any future 2011 home game, excluding July 3rd and 4 th.

The B-Mets (8-13) will be back in action tomorrow against the SeaWolves (10-13) with first pitch set for 6:35pm. LHP Robert Carson (1-3, 3.79) will square off against RHP Jacob Turner (0-1, 2.70).
