Trenton to Play DH Against Bowie at Waterfront Park on June 6

(Binghamton, NY)- The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, have announced that the Thunder and the Bowie Baysox (Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) will play a double-header at Waterfront Park on Tuesday June 2nd. The first game of the double-header will start at 6:05 p.m. and both games will be seven-inning contests.

The doubleheader has been scheduled because Trenton and Bowie only played three out of four scheduled games at Prince George's Stadium (Bowie, MD) between May 4th and May 7th. The Thunder do not make another trip to Prince George's Stadium this season.

Trenton and Binghamton continue their five-game series on Friday night. RHP Zach McAllister (1-1, 2.67) will start for Trenton against Binghamton RHP Jose Sanchez (1-3, 6.23) Game time is set for 7:05 p.m.

Trenton will return to Waterfront Park on Tuesday night to start a three-game series against the Akron Aeros (Double-A Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians).
