Springdale, AR - The Arkansas Travelers, again, took advantage of Northwest Arkansas Naturals fielding blunders and won 5-2 on Thursday night at Arvest Ballpark, the Travs third win in a row.

The Naturals jumped on the board first with a C Cam Gallagher two-run home run in the second, but Arkansas plated three unearned runs in the fourth, capped by an 3B Andrew Daniel two-run single, to take the lead for good.

The Travs added two in the seventh for the 5-2 advantage.

Daniel finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored.

Travs starter RHP Blayne Weller (W, 2-5) earned the victory with five innings of work. Weller allowed the two runs on four hits with two walks and seven strikeouts. The righty stranded the bases loaded in the third and men on second and third in the fourth.

Arkansas' bullpen worked four scoreless innings behind Weller and allowed just one hit.

RHP Danny Reynolds tossed two hitless innings after Weller and RHP Geoff Broussard (S, 1) notched his third save of the season after retiring the final four batters of the game.

With their third straight victory, Arkansas won the four-game series and improved to 16-24 on the season. The Travs will begin a four-game set vs. Springfield at Dickey-Stephens park on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
