Arkansas Travelers News Release
San Antonio, TX - For the second straight night, extra innings was needed but this time the San Antonio Missions came out on top, 2-1 over the Arkansas Travelers in 10 innings. The game was a pitcher's duel with both starters not allowing a run. Connor Jones delivered the longest start of the season by a Trav going seven shutout innings allowing just two hits and three walks while striking out six. On the other side, Matt Waldron worked six scoreless frames with Arkansas mustering just two hits. San Antonio got the game's first run in the bottom of the eighth on a two out hit from Esteury Ruiz.
Moments That Mattered
