
Travs Launch Two HRs in Kipper's Shutout

Springfield, MO - The Arkansas Travelers blanked the Springfield Cardinals 6-0 on Wednesday night at Hammons Field.
RHP Jordan Kipper (W, 6-3) worked seven brilliant innings and allowed just two hits with one walk and five strikeouts. Kipper has now won four of his last five starts.
Arkansas started the scoring early with four runs in the first, capped by an 1B Eric Aguilera RBI single and DH Jabari Henry three-run home run.
The Travs added two more in the eighth on Aguilera's seventh home run of the season, a two run shot to make it 6-0.
Both Aguilera and Henry finished with a home run, two hits and three RBIs.
Travs LF Caleb Adams produced his first multi-hit game in Double-A with a 3-for-4 night, including a double and two runs scored.
RHP Alan Busenitz pitched a scoreless eighth inning and RHP DJ Johnson and LHP Tyler DeLoach split the ninth.
With the win, Arkansas improved to 7-7 against Springfield this season and 24-34 overall. The two teams will play game three of the four-game series on Thursday night at Hammons Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
