North Little Rock, AR - The Arkansas Travelers survived to defeat the Corpus Christi Hooks, 4-3 on Wednesday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. The Hooks loaded the bases in the ninth inning with the Travs clinging to a one run lead but did not score against Michael Stryffeler. Emerson Hancock pitched five innings giving up three runs (two earned) for his first win in three starts with Arkansas. The Travs jumped out early with a run in the first and three more in the second inning. On the night, the teams combined for 15 walks, 24 strikeouts and left 23 runners on base.
Moments That Mattered

Notable Travs Performances
* CF Julio Rodriguez: 1-2, 2 BB, HBP, 2 runs
* LF Stephen Wrenn: 1-3, BB, run, SB, HR, RBI
