Springdale, AR - The Springfield Cardinals (36-62) evened the series with a 5-3 win against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (50-47) in game two of the set at Arvest Ballpark on Wednesday night.

RHP Michael Brettell dealt a season-high 6.0 innings with just one run on three hits, no walks and six strikeouts in his second start of the season... 1B Chandler Redmond went 2x5 with a two-run blast in the 7th and a double, hitting safely in 11 of his first 13 Double-A games... 2B Nick Dunn started the scoring with a solo home run in the 1st...LF Irving Lopez went 3x4 with an RBI... CF David Vinsky went 2x4 with an RBI... RHP Freddy Pacheco slammed the door with 1.1 scoreless innings of relief, including an inning ending strikeout to strand the bases loaded in the 8th.
