The Mississauga Steelheads were victorious in Peterborough on Thursday, pulling out two points without a pair of big blueliners in the lineup.

Ole Bjorgvik-Holm and Kasper Larsen are in Horsholm, Denmark, representing their respective countries at the 2022 IIHF Division 1, Group A World Junior Championship that begins Saturday, December 12th.

A fifth round pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2020, the 19-year-old Bjorgvik-Holm will play be representing his native Norway. The native of Oslo has six points (2-4-6) through his first 18 games of the season. Bjorgvik-Holm signed a three-year entry level NHL contract with the Jackets on August 16th. The Steelheads selected him with the 31st overall pick of the 2019 CHL Import Draft.

A 6-foot-5, 229Ib. 19-year-old from Rodovre, Denmark, Larsen will be playing on home ice next week. The 19th overall pick of the 2020 CHL Import Draft has 12 assists through his first 19 games with Mississauga.

Bjorgvik-Holm and Larsen won't return to the Steelheads lineup until after the holiday break.
