Toros Select Toure Murry in the 2012 NBA D-League Draft

AUSTIN, TX - The Austin Toros selected Toure Murry with the 15th pick in the first round of the 2012 NBA D-League draft Friday night. Murry, a 6-5, 200 pound shooting guard played four years at Wichita State averaging 12.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 28.8 minutes.

"After an extensive draft process, the Toros are excited to add seven new prospects to our training camp roster. We feel like we've put together a really good group to begin camp and the start of the season," said Toros Head Coach Taylor Jenkins.

The Toros also selected forward Andrew Lovedale (6-8, 220, Davidson), forward Maurice McNeil (6-9,225, Houston), post Alexis Wangmene (6-7, 241, Texas), forward Jazwyn Cowan (6-8, 235, Hampton), forward PJ Alawoya (6-8,215, McNeese State) and guard Justin Johnson (6-6, 190,Iowa).

All players will report to Austin for training camp beginning November 12.
