Legends Select Eight Players in 2012 Draft

Texas Legends News Release
Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends selected eight players in the 2012 NBA Development League Draft tonight to fill out their training camp roster in advance of the 2012-13 season.
With the Legends first selection (8th overall) in the 2012 draft, the Legends selected Christian Eyenga (6'5" gaurd, Congo). Eyenga was selected in the First Round (30th overall) by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2009 NBA Draft and has spent two seasons in the NBA.
In the second round, Texas picked Sean Singletary, 6'0" guard from Virginia. Singletary was selected by the Sacramento Kings in the 2nd round of the 2008 NBA Draft. With the Third Round selection, Texas picked Shay Shine, 6'2" guard from High Point.
Additionally, the Legends selected Darryl Bryant in the Fifth Round, Marcus Simmons in the Sixth Round, Billy McShepard in the Seventh Round and Kenny Dobbs in the Eighth Round.
