Last Week: The Toronto Marlies posted a record of 1-2-0-0 in three games this past week. In a rare Wednesday night home game, the Marlies were defeated 3-2 by the Rockford IceHogs, AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. Greg McKegg and Carter Ashton notched goals for Toronto, while Drew MacIntyre stopped 17 of 20 shots.

In their second game of the week, the Marlies were defeated 4-1 by the Rochester Americans, AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, on Saturday evening at Ricoh Coliseum. Former Marlie Mike Zigomanis recorded a goal against his former team, while Spencer Abbott tallied the lone Toronto marker. Garret Sparks made 26 saves in the loss.

The Marlies traveled to Copps Coliseum on Sunday afternoon, where they earned a 3-2 victory over the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens. Jerred Smithson notched his first goal since joining the team and Drew MacIntyre earned his fifth victory of the season.

Look Ahead: The Marlies will take to the ice for two games this coming week. In their first contest of the week, Toronto returns to Copps Coliseum on Friday night for a 7:30 p.m. game against the Hamilton Bulldogs. Rookie Sven Andrighetto leads the Bulldogs in scoring with seven points (three goals, four assists) in eight games.

Goaltender Dustin Tokarski has registered three victories in four starts this season.

On Tuesday, November 4, the Marlies travel to New York for their first meeting in franchise history against the Utica Comets, AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks. Puck drop is 7 p.m.

Pascal Pelletier leads the Comets in scoring with eight points (two goals, six assists) in five games.
