Jets Re-Assign Patrice Cormier to IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have re-assigned forward Patrice Cormier to the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Cormier, 23, appeared in three games with the Jets since his recall on Oct. 17/13. He will return to St. John's where he has played in four games with the IceCaps so far this season. In that time, the left-handed centre has recorded one assist and 13 penalty minutes.

The Moncton, NB native has played in 43 career NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg for two career points (1G, 1A) and 18 career penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2008 NHL Draft.
