ON THE SCORESHEET

- TJ Brennan scored his 15th goal of the season late in the third period to remain in a tie for first place in AHL scoring.

- Nikita Soshnikov extended his point streak to four games, opening the scoring for the Marlies 5:49 into the second period.

- Mark Arcobello recorded assists on both Toronto goals in the third period.

- Jeremy Morin scored his 11th goal of the season and his second in a Marlies uniform.

- Rinat Valiev assisted on two Marlies goals; he has multi-point efforts in four games this season.

- Eric Faille recorded an assist on Casey Bailey's fourth goal of the season. Faille has points in both games he has dressed for this season.

- Brett Findlay recorded an assist on the Bailey goal, his second point in as many games.

- Kasperi Kapanen has points in back to back contests, collecting an assist on the opening Marlies goal.

- Garret Sparks returned to the net for the Marlies, skating in his first game since November 21, 2015 against Rochester. Sparks turned aside 29 shots in the losing effort.
