Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), close a three-game in three-day home weekend today against the Texas Stars at 3:00 PT at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Today is the third of six meetings between the two teams this season.

The Stars enter today's contest on a five-game point streak (4-0-1-0).
The Last Time We Met:
The Reign improved their head-to-head record against the Stars to 2-0-0-0 with a 3-2 overtime victory on January 5 at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Forward Nic Dowd leads the Reign and the series with five points (five assists).
Dowd Rolling Along:
Forward Nic Dowd has four goals and four assists for eight points in his last five games including three goals in the last two contests.
Budaj Closing in on 200:
Reign goaltender Peter Budaj is tied for first in the AHL with 19 wins this season and is one victory away from 200 in his professional career. In 478 appearances over a 14-year career, Budaj is 199-181-54 with a 2.70 goals-against average and .908 save percentage.
