Toronto Downs Hamilton 4-2

The Toronto Marlies defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, by a score of 4-2 this afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum.
Hamilton would open the scoring on a Zack Stortini tally at 7:22 of the first period. Just over ten seconds later, Gabriel Dumont made it 2-0 for the Bulldogs on his 14th goal of the season. Carter Ashton's 9th goal of the year would cut the lead in half at 12:49 of the second period. The Marlies tied the game at two before the end of the frame on a powerplay goal from Simon Gysbers. Nicolas Deschamps would give Toronto their first lead of the game at 3:45 of the third period. Spencer Abbott added an insurance marker with just less than ten minutes remaining in the game.
