B-Sens Fall to IceCaps, 1-0

ST. JOHN'S, NFLD. - The Binghamton Senators were defeated by the St. John's IceCaps 1-0 at Mile One Centre tonight. The loss was their second straight against the IceCaps this weekend. The game also marks the conclusion of the season series between the two squads in which St. John's emerged on top 3-1-0-0.
The game remained scoreless until 11:38 of the second period when the IceCaps capitalized on a power play. Eric O'Dell scored his twelfth goal of the season and third against the B-Sens this weekend. Ben Maxwell and Spencer Machacek drew the assists.
Robin Lehner started in goal for the B-Sens turning aside 29 of 30 shots in the loss. Eddie Pasquale blanked the B-Sens by being perfect on all 24 shots he faced to earn the victory.
The B-Sens continue their four-game road trip on Wednesday, Feb. 6, with a visit to Glens Falls where they will face the Adirondack Phantoms at 7 p.m. Fans can listen live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM) beginning 15 minutes before game time as Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens, hosts the Countdown to Faceoff.
