Tonight's Sea Dogs Game Postponed

Portland, Maine- Tonight's Portland Sea Dogs game against the Altoona Curve (Pirates) scheduled for 6:00 PM at Hadlock Field has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made-up as a single admission doubleheader tomorrow, June 8th at 6:00 PM at Hadlock Field. The two teams will play two seven inning games.

Fans with tickets for Wednesday's rain out, may exchange their tickets at the Hadlock Field Box Office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2006 Sea Dogs regular season home game, subject to availability. Any questions regarding tickets should be directed to the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or by e-mail tickets@seadogs.com.

Fans holding tickets for the June 8th game, those tickets are good for both games of the doubleheader.

The probable pitchers for tomorrow's doubleheader are:

Game One: Altoona: TBA vs. LHP Kason Gabbard (6-3, 3.35)

Game Two: Altoona: TBA vs. RHP Charlie Zink (1-0, 1.23)

This is the Sea Dogs fourth rain out at Hadlock and ninth overall for the season. The Sea Dogs are currently in first place in the Eastern League's Northern Division with a 33-22 record. Portland has won a season high six consecutive games.
