(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, the Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced that INF Eric Duncan has been transferred from Columbus (AAA-International League) to Trenton. RHP Steven White has been transferred from Trenton to Columbus.

Duncan, rated as the #2 Yankees prospect by Baseball America entering the 2006 season, has been on the Disabled List since May 13th. He has played in 31 G for Columbus with a .209 BA, 0 HR and 6 RBI. In 2005, Duncan helped the Thunder to the playoffs for the first time since 1999. He batted .236, 19 HR and 61 RBI. The Florham Park, NJ native was selected by the Yankees in the 1st Round of the 2003 Draft (Seton Hall Prep).

White was the Yankees' 4th Round Selection in the 2003 June Draft out of the Baylor University. The League City, TX native had a 4-1 record for Trenton in 2006 with a 2.11 ERA, which is currently 6th best in the Eastern League. White is 3-0, 1.33 ERA in his last four starts for Trenton, allowing just four runs over 27.0 IP. His last outing was a complete-game victory at Portland on May 31st in the opener of a doubleheader. He tossed seven shutout innings and gave up just three hits.

During 2005, White put up a 2-7 record for the Thunder with a 6.44 ERA. He missed three months (4/22- 7/21) with an oblique strain and then missed the playoffs with a bout of pancreatitis.
