Clinton, IA - Heavy thunderstorms with the potential for tornados put an early end to tonight's game between the Clinton LumberKings and South Bend Silver Hawks at Alliant Energy Field. The game will not be resumed as the two clubs do not meet again in the second half.
Fans who have purchased tickets to the contest can exchange those stubs for tickets to any of the remaining home games in 2009. The post-game "Down 24" concert will not be re-scheduled, but the band will perform a concert following the Friday, August 28 game against Quad Cities.
