Home Run for Life
* Tuesday, July 28: Dragons will honor Xenia-native Justin Ferrence, who lives with Cerebral Palsy * During an inning-break, Justin will round the bases and receive a special gift from Dragons manager Todd Benzinger to symbolize his "Home Run for Life"
* "Home Run for Life" program sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield
10th Annual Bob Ross Classic
* Fifth Third Field hosts the "Bob Ross Classic" two days before the homestand on July 26 at 7 p.m. * The top rising seniors from 38 local high schools will play a showcase exhibition * Game is presented by Bob Ross Buick-GMC
Dragons on the Field
* The Dragons are coming off a six-game roadtrip, with stops in Wisconsin and Kane County * The ten-game homestand is the longest remaining homestand in the 2009 season * Dayton finishes the regular season with 25 of its final 40 games at Fifth Third Field * Great Lakes is one of the three teams competing with the Dragons for the final two divisional playoff spots * As of Friday afternoon, Dayton was tied for the final playoff spot with South Bend * Peoria, Burlington, and Great Lakes are affiliates of the Cubs, Royals, and Dodgers, respectively * The Dragons will play their final regular season games against the Western Division on this homestand
