The playoff-bound Cedar Rapids Kernels open a six game home stand on Saturday, July 25th at 6:35 pm. The Fun's Right Here with a rundown of what you can expect each day:

July 25-27 vs. South Bend Silver Hawks

The Kernels open a six game home stand with three games against the South Bend Silver Hawks, the Midwest League affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The home stand starts with a bang on Saturday, July 25th with post-game fireworks presented by Alliant Energy. Gates open at 5:30 pm and the Kernels take on South Bend at 6:35 pm. The Kernels welcome groups from the community of Belle Plaine, The ADA, Alliant Energy and the Boy Scouts to the game on Saturday.

Sunday's are always a fun day and Sunday, July 26th is no exception. It's 104.5 KDAT Sunday Family Fun Day where fans can get autographs from the Kernels on the main concourse from 1:20 to 1:40 pm, play Travel Advisors Baseball Vacation Bingo and enjoy the balloon artistry of Papa Balloon during the game, and run the bases and play catch in the outfield after the game. You'll want to be here when the gates open at 1 pm as the first 1,000 children, 12 and under, receive a free Mr. Shucks Soap Dispenser, courtesy of McDonald's. The Kernels welcome guests from the community of Wyoming and all the churches at the game on Family Faith Day. First pitch between the Kernels and Silver Hawks is scheduled for 2:05 pm.

It's back and better than ever! Million Dollar Monday returns to Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium when the Kernels take on South Bend at 6:35 pm. All fans, age 18 and older, can sign up inside the gates for a chance to win one million dollars if the Kernels throw a perfect game! Once the perfect game is over, fans can enjoy regular hot dogs, soda and 12 oz draft beer for a buck the rest of the night. But that's not all! Every inning, there's a chance for a fan to win $10,000 if the Kernels accomplish a particular feat on the diamond, like hitting for the cycle in an inning or striking out the side on nine pitches. Perfect Game USA and the Kernels bring you Million Dollar Monday - the gates open at 5:30 pm.

July 28-30 vs. Kane County Cougars

The Kernels conclude a six game home stand with three games against the Kane County Cougars, the Midwest League affiliate of the Oakland A's.

Fans love it when the Kernels hit a single and every Tuesday home game is KRAFT Singles Day at the ballpark! Fans can bring in a KRAFT Singles package wrapper to the Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium box office, buy one ticket and get one ticket free from KRAFT Singles! And, it's 98.1 KHAK Two Dollar Tuesday where 12 oz. draft beer, regular hot dogs, bottled soda, peanuts and nachos are $2 all game. Gates open at 5:30 pm and first pitch between the Kernels and Cougars is scheduled for 6:35 pm.

You'll want to get here when the gates open at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, July 29th as the first 1,000 fans through the gates receive a free player magnet of former Kernel and current San Francisco Giants catcher, Ben Molina, presented by Xquisite Limo, Mix 96.5 FM and WMT AM 600. It's also a Kernels Little Sluggers Kids Club night and the Kernels welcome guests from Rockwell Collins to the game. First pitch between the Kernels and Kane County is scheduled for 6:35 pm.

It's a 100.7 The Fox Thirsty Thursday when the Kernels take on Kane County on July 30th at 6:35 pm. Enjoy 12 oz. draft beer for $1.50 all game and make sure to tip the DJ's from KKRQ as they donate all tips to a local charity. The Kernels welcome guests from St. Paul's Methodist Church, Rockwell Collins and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders Season Ticket Holders to the game. Gates open at 5:30 pm.

Fans may purchase tickets for all Kernels home games on-line at www.kernels.com or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at 896-7560. Ticket office hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday and from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday. The ticket office is closed on Sunday, but opens at 11 am on Kernel Sunday Home games.
