Tonight's Game Postponed Due to Rain

ZEBULON, NC - Thursday's game between the Carolina Mudcats and Wilmington Blue Rocks has been postponed due to rain at Five County Stadium in Zebulon. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, June 18 with the first pitch of game one scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
The Mudcats continue their current homestand on Friday night with the start of Star Wars Weekend at Five County Stadium and the start of a three game series against the Lynchburg Hillcats. Star Wars Weekend continues through Sunday, May 1. The weekend will feature Star Wars themed Mudcats game jerseys and an appearance by the 501st Legion Carolina Garrison. Friday's game will also feature postgame fireworks.
The Star Wars themed game worn jerseys will be made available to fans for purchase via an online auction at http://mudcats.milbauctions.com/. Net proceeds from the online auction will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina.
Saturday, April 30 features a Star Wars themed Souvenir Light-saber Toy giveaway. The first 1,200 kids ages 14 and under will receive a free souvenir light-saber toy at the Five County Stadium gates with paid admission. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. with gates opening at 4:00 p.m. in Zebulon.
The home stand concludes on Sunday, May 1 with the conclusion of Star Wars Weekend at Five County Stadium. Sunday's first pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. The game worn Star Wars themed Mudcats' jerseys will be auctioned off online soon after Sunday's daytime start in Zebulon.
