Myrtle Beach Pelicans News Release
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Already boasting a lineup of more than 20 craft beers at TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans are partnering with American Tap House for an exciting addition to their craft beer options at the ballpark. Beginning with the club's next home contest on Friday, April 29, fans will be able to purchase beer buckets and growlers during each game at TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark, making Myrtle Beach the first professional team to offer those options in-house.
"I am looking forward to seeing beer buckets and growlers throughout the stadium and community this season," said Pelicans vice president of business development Ryan Moore. "These type of offerings would not be possible without the great partnerships we have with the American Tap House and Better Brands. It's great when multiple partners can come together with one goal in mind: To make the fan experience at TicketReturn.Com Field the best in Minor League Baseball."
The souvenir buckets, featuring the Pelicans and American Tap House logos, include any five of the Pelicans' wide assortment of 12 oz. craft beer for just $30. Souvenir beer growlers are only $25, with fans again being able to select from the craft beer lineup at TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. Growlers can be refilled for $20 until alcohol sales end at the conclusion of the seventh inning.
"We are very excited to partner with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and help bring the love of craft beer to the fans at TicketReturn.com Field every Tuesday night," said American Tap House regional director Stephanie Atwood. "We look forward to sharing our passion for craft beer and celebrating great friends, great food and great beer with all our fans this summer at Broadway at the Beach."
The Pelicans are also offering fans the option to pre-purchase a To-Go Growler that they can pick up once they leave the ballpark.
"We're excited to expand on our partnership with the Pelicans and offer these new products to fans," said Better Brands president Mike Reilly. "The ability to take home and responsibly enjoy one of the more than 20 craft beers served at the stadium in a souvenir growler is a great way to extend the fan experience beyond the ballpark."
All buckets and growlers will be available for every Pelicans home game in Hops Heaven, next to the Clark & Addison Grille and the new Rita Bar just inside Gate 1.
Following their three-game series at Potomac, Myrtle Beach returns home for a three-game weekend set with Salem beginning Friday, April 29, at 7:05 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.
The 2016 season is the 18th season for the Pelicans franchise and second as the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. For information on tickets to see the Pelicans in 2016, please call (843) 918-6000, e-mail info@myrtlebeachpelicans.com, or visit www.MyrtleBeachPelicans.com.
