WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (April 28, 2016) - The newest, most adventurous entrée on the menu at BB&T Ballpark-the Cheesy Pig Dog-has been selected to participate in MiLB.com's "Food Fight," an online vote that will determine the tastiest ballpark item in Minor League Baseball.

One of just 72 participants in the "Food Fight," the Cheesy Pig Dog is a hot dog topped with BBQ, macaroni and cheese and shredded cheese. The Dash introduced the signature item this year and will have it on the menu at the Big Dog stand in the first base concourse throughout the 2016 season.

Fans can vote for the Cheesy Pig Dog. Voting will run through Tuesday, May 17.

Winston-Salem is one of four teams in the Carolina League participating in this contest, along with the Carolina Mudcats (Pork Canita's), Frederick Keys (Reuben Dog), and Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Chicago Double Play).

Also, the Dash are one of four White Sox affiliates involved in this competition. Triple-A Charlotte (Chicken and Waffle Cone), Double-A Birmingham (The Magic City Dog) and Low-A Kannapolis (Mater Sandwich) are gunning for the top prize as well.

The Winston-Salem Dash are the Class A-Advanced minor league affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. To purchase tickets and for more information, please call (336) 714-2287 or visit www.wsdash.com.
