Walleye Notes

- Past Week Performance! Toledo started the week with a hard fought 2-1 win in Fort Wayne on Friday night. The Walleye scored twice on the power play while goaltender Jordan Pearce made 29 saves in the win. Saturday night, Toledo scored just 58 seconds into the first period and collected a 6-1 win.

- Going for the Goals! Toledo set a new season high for goals scored in a game on Saturday night's 6-1 win over Wheeling. The previous high was five, done three times this year. Toledo has scored 16 goals combined against the Nailers in the last three meetings.

- Starting a Period off Right! The Walleye scored early goals in each period Saturday night. Kyle Rogers started the run with his goal just 58 seconds into the first period. Luke Glendening scored his first of two goals on the night at 1:18 of the second period. Glendening's second goal was a shorthanded one to start the third period at 1:09.

- Road Run! With its win on Friday night in Fort Wayne, Toledo extended its unbeaten in regulation streak to five games away from home (4-0-1). The lone loss suffered by the Walleye in this run is a 3-2 shootout loss at Wheeling on November 1st.

- All about the North! On Wednesday night, Toledo will start a stretch of nine consecutive games against North Division foes.

- Gametime! Toledo will start a very busy week this week with a showdown in Cincinnati on Wednesday night. The two teams will meet again Friday night in Toledo, the site of the only meeting so far this year, with Toledo winning a 3-2 overtime thriller on October 19th. Saturday night, the Walleye will return to Fort Wayne to take on the Komets. The road team has won the three previous meetings. The week finishes with a Sunday trip to Kalamazoo to take on the Wings. Toledo and Kalamazoo have split the first two meetings this year, with the home team victorious in each one.

- Promotions! Celebrate Black Friday with the Walleye! 1,000 Turkey Hats will be dropped from the ceiling during the first intermission! Following the game it's another Post Game Party with the players on the Club Level!
