Toledo Sneaks By Chiefs

Johnstown, PA- The Johnstown Chiefs squandered a 2-0 lead Sunday afternoon as the visiting Toledo Storm scored three third period goals en route to a 4-3 win Sunday afternoon at the War Memorial Arena.

Shawn Mather, Matt Reid and Brian Collins scored for Johnstown. P.J. Martin, Shawn Collymore, P.L. Sleigher and Paul Ballantyne scored for Toledo.

Chiefs goaltender David Cann suffered the loss making 24 saves. Scott Fankhouser made 28 saves for Toledo.

The Chiefs fall to 19-26-14, while Toledo improves to 34-22-4.

The Chiefs are back in action Thursday night, St. Patrick's Day when they face the Peoria Rivermen at 7:00 p.m. The Chiefs then embark on an eight game, 15 day road trip with stops in Wheeling, Dayton, Peoria, Atlantic City and Toledo.
