
Titans Receive Center From Milwaukee

TRENTON, NJ (January 21, 2005) âThe Trenton Titans today announced that center Paul Brown has been assigned by the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.
Brown, a 21-year old native of Prince George, BC, was a third round pick (#89 overall) of the Nashville Predators in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to entering the professional ranks, Brown split five seasons with the Regina Pats and the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League compiling 161 points (82g, 79a) and 782 penalty minutes over 229 games. The 6'3", 195 lb center was registered 26 penalty minutes in four games with the Admirals this season.
In separate transactions, defensemen Matt Libby and Brian Sullivan have been activated off 7-day injured reserve, while center Connor Dunlop has been placed on the 7-day IR.
Sullivan, 24, came to the Titans after being recalled from the Florida Everblades by the Lowell Lock Monsters of the AHL. The rookie defenseman appeared in 20 games for the Everblades this season, recording 2 goals and 5 penalty minutes. Sullivan has an assist and 7 PIM over 4 games with Trenton.
In his second stint with the Titans, Libby, 26, leads team defensemen with 14 points (1g, 13a) over 30 games. After a four-year career at Providence College, Libby joined Trenton for his rookie season in 2001-02. That year the native of Saco, ME registered 28 points (7g, 21a) over 49 games was selected to the Northern Conference All-Star Team and the All-ECHL Rookie Team. A fourth-year pro, Libby has totaled 18 points (3g, 15a) over 92 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Portland Pirates, Saint John Flames and Syracuse Crunch of the AHL.
Dunlop, 24, returned to the ECHL after skating for five games with Litvinov CHP HC of the Czech Extraliga. In 17 games with the Titans, Dunlop has tallied 4 goals, 4 assists and 6 PIM. The second-year pro spent his rookie year in 2003-04 with the Cincinnati Cyclones, but had his season cut short due to injury, appearing in just 10 games and recording 4 points (1g, 3a).
