
Robinson, Francisco Added To National Conference Roster

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Friday that Trenton forward Brent Robinson will replace Johnstown forward Brent Kelly and that Reading center Jon Francisco will replace teammate Jeff Miles on the National Conference roster for the 2005 Coors Light ECHL All-Star Game. It was also announced that Atlantic City forward Derek Edwardson would replace Kelly in the starting lineup for the National Conference.
Kelly is currently on loan to Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League where he has two penalty minutes in five games. Miles has been recalled to Manchester and he had two penalty minutes and two shots in the Monarchs 2-0 win against Worcester on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Francisco has 20 points (9g-11a) in 34 games with Reading.
In his first full professional season and under contract to Philadelphia of the National Hockey League, the 23-year-old Robinson has 23 points (9g-14a) in 29 games with Trenton and one assist in five AHL games with Philadelphia.
The 23-year-old Kelly has 30 points (11g-19a) in 27 games with Johnstown.
Selected in the ninth round (268th overall) by Chicago in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to Manchester of the AHL, Miles ranks second among ECHL rookies with 17 goals and is sixth in scoring with 33 points in 34 games.
The 13th Annual ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition will be held at the 7,215-seat Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa. The Skills Competition will be on January 25 at 7:05 p.m. and the All-Star Game will be played on January 26 at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are still available for all events and can be purchased at the Reading Royals box office or by telephone at (610) 898-7825.
