Robinson Named to ECHL All-Star Squad

TRENTON, NJ (January 21, 2005) -The ECHL announced on Friday that Trenton Titans forward Brent Robinson will replace Johnstown forward Brent Kelly on the National Conference roster for the 2005 Coors Light ECHL All-Star Game.

"Brent's been fantastic for us all season and it's exciting to see him recognized as one of the top forwards in the ECHL," said Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Mike Haviland. "It's also great for the Titans organization to see two of its young players in Brent and Stephen [Wood] heading to the All-Star Game.

Reassigned by Philadelphia (AHL) on January 18, Robinson led the Titans in scoring with 23 points (9g, 14a) in 28 games before his call-up on January 6. The 23-year old rookie, under contract with Philadelphia Flyers, tallied one assist in five games with the Phantoms. Robinson, a native of Pointe Clair, Quebec, led Brown University in scoring for three consecutive seasons while compiling 99 points (38G, 61A) in 120 career games from 2000-04.

Sponsored by Coors Light and hosted by the Reading Royals, the 13th Annual ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition will be held at the 7,215-seat Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa. The Skills Competition is January 25 at 7:05 p.m. and the All-Star Game is January 26 at 7:05 p.m.
