January 18, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Titans News Release

Last Meeting(s)

January 6, 2012 - Trenton came out strong in the final game of a 3-in-3 nights, taking a 2-0 lead on the road. But Artem Demkov's second of the night, 38 seconds into the third period, proved to be the game-winner. Elmira held off a late rally, surviving a last-second shot off the post to pull out a 4-3 victory.

Next Meeting

In just over a week the Titans will head back north to the Empire state to battle the Jackals on Sunday January 27 at 4:05 pm.

Streaks (Last 10)

Elmira: 4-0-1 (7-2-1); Trenton: 1-0 (3-6-1)

Defending Arenas Everywhere

Trenton continues to have one of the best PK units in the league, ranked T-1 overall (w/AK) at 86.2% (137 kills-159 Opps). They are equally as good in any venue, ranked 3rd at home (88.9, 72-81) and 6th on the road (83.3, 65-78).

DID YOU KNOW?

Elmira's PP is dangerous, but has "struggled" of late. Once the top unit in the league at nearly 30% efficiency, the Jackals now rank 9th at 20.3 (29 goals, 143 Chances), just a tick behind the Titans, who are 8th at 20.6 (36 goals, 175 Opps)

Elmira's PK was the best early on as well, but has fallen to 15th in the ECHL (82%). At home is where the Jackals do their best work, killing penalties at an 86.3% clip, nearly 10 points better than on the road (77.1).
