Fort Wayne TinCaps News Release
The TinCaps begin their final series of the first half, taking on the West Michigan Whitecaps tonight at 7:00 in Comstock Park, Michigan. Fort Wayne's Joe Ross is scheduled to start against West Michigan's Charlie Gillies.
Although the TinCaps clinched a postseason berth on Tuesday, they still have the opportunity to win the Eastern Division title. Fort Wayne trails South Bend be 1.5 games and have four games left in the first half, while South Bend has only three. This marks the closest the TinCaps have been to first place since May 16, when it began the day one game out.
