Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The lyric "Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack" in Take Me Out To the Ballgame will be the only place peanuts appear at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium on Thursday, June 20. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers host their fifth annual "Peanut Free" Night on that evening.

The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers host the Cedar Rapids Kernels at 7:05pm on June 20. There will be no peanuts, peanut butter, or peanut based products allowed inside the stadium for the game to allow fans with peanut allergies to enjoy a Timber Rattlers game.

The stadium will be cleaned and rinsed before "Peanut Free" Night to remove as much peanut residue from the seats, concourse, and other areas as possible. Even though peanuts and products made with nuts or peanut oil will not be sold, the Timber Rattlers cannot guarantee that all peanut residues will be out of the ballpark. However, every effort will be made for a peanut free environment.

"Peanut Free" Night also happens to be an Artie's Old Fashioned Thirsty Thursday with 95.9 KISS-FM. Soda, Beer, and Artie's Old Fashioned Drinks are available for $2. Plus, the first 1,000 fans to attend the game will receive a baseball cap from North Shore Bank.

Tickets are available at the Time Warner Cable Field Ticket Office or by calling (800) WI-TIMBER or (920) 733-4152 from 10am to 3pm on Saturday and 9am until 5pm Monday through Friday.
