Timbers Goalkeeper Jeff Attinella to Undergo Season-Ending Surgery

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers announced today that goalkeeper Jeff Attinella will undergo season-ending surgery on his Ruptured Right Rectus Femoris Tendon, which will be performed on Monday, May 17 at Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center.

Attinella sustained the injury in the Timbers' home match against Seattle Sounders FC on May 9 and will be out for the remainder of the season. He will conduct his rehabilitation with the Timbers sports medicine staff.
