
Tigers Win 1-0 over Rebels in OT; Now Lead Series 2-0

MEDICINE HAT, AB - The Rebels now trail the Medicine Hat Tigers in their first round series 2 games to nothing after a 1-0 overtime loss Sunday. Trevor Cox was the hero for the Tigers scoring the overtime winner at the 10:05 mark of the extra frame.
Both teams had plenty of chances to score throughout this game, but Rebels goaltender Rylan Toth and Tigers goalie Marek Langhamer were outstanding. Toth finished with 36 saves, Langhamer made 27 stops.
The Rebels were 0 for 3 on the power play in the game, the Tigers were 0 for 5.
The series now shifts to Red Deer. Game 3 is Wednesday, game 4 is Thursday. Both are 7:00PM starts at the ENMAX Centrium.
