
Whistle Nominated for CHL Goalie of Week

The WHL has nominated Jackson Whistle of the Kelowna Rockets for the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week award.
Whistle, a 1995-born netminder from West Kelowna, BC, recorded two shutouts last week in the Rockets ' Round 1 match-up against the Tri-City Americans. On Friday, March 27 th, Whistle turned aside 18 shots in Game 1 against the Americans to earn a 6-0 shutout victory and claim third star honours.
The following night, Whistle stopped all 30 shots he faced in Game 2 to pick up his second consecutive shutout and a 3-0 win while earning second star honours.
Currently in his fourth WHL campaign, Whistle has posted a 2-0-1 record with two shutouts in thee career WHL P layoff appearances.
Whistle and the Rockets are heading to Tri-City to play games three and four in the series on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
