Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers announced today that they have signed Cayden Lindstrom to a Standard WHL Player Agreement.
Lindstrom, who stands 6'5 was selected by the Tigers in the 3rd round, 54th overall at the WHL Prospect Draft on December 9th. The Chetwynd, BC native has 37 points (16G, 21A) in 17 games with the Delta Hockey Academy U17 Prep team. Lindstrom also appeared for Team BC in the WHL Cup, notching 1 goal and 2 assists in 5 games, including the goal that sealed the tournament for Team BC.
Cayden has a large body, but plays even bigger than his 6'5 frame. He plays a physical game but also is a skilled forward with good hands and shows high hockey IQ. We'd like to welcome Cayden and his family to Medicine Hat and the Tigers organization."
Lindstrom is expected to be in the lineup tonight for the Tigers as they take on the Calgary Hitmen at Co-op Place. Doors open at 6 and puck drop is set for 7pm.
