Medicine Hat, AB - Looking for the sweep of their home-and-home set with Medicine Hat, the Calgary Hitmen fell 3-2 to the Tigers on Thursday night at Co-op Place.

The Hitmen outshot the home side 43-22 but Washington Capitals prospect Garin Bjorklund made 41 saves to help steal the two points.

The Tigers, who jumped out to a 2-0 lead before a crucial third period shorthanded tally made it 3-1, received a pair of goals from Tyler MacKenzie and a single from Noah Danielson.

The loss was the first in the season series for the Hitmen who had won three straight against their Trans-Canada rivals.
