Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have announced that there are no more tickets available for the August 18 game at Time Warner Cable Field. This marks the third time in the 2009 season that the Timber Rattlers have cut off ticket sales prior to game time. The Timber Rattlers recognize a sellout at 4,500 fans and they have reached that attendance mark 15 times this season.

The final tickets to see Dave Bush make his second rehabilitation start for the Timber Rattlers were sold around 2:15pm today. Wisconsin is hosting the Beloit Snappers tonight at 7:05pm.

As a reminder for fans attending the game tonight, the parking lot for tonight's game will open at 4:30pm and the gates to Time Warner Cable Field will open at 5:30pm.

Wisconsin entered tonight's game with a season attendance of 214,112. The single season franchise record was set in 1996 with 233,797. After tonight, the 2009 attendance will be around 220,000. There are seven home games remaining in the 2009 season for the Timber Rattlers.

The previous times Wisconsin sold all available tickets for a game prior to game time in 2009 were on April 9, which was the first home game for the Timber Rattlers as an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, and on August 4, a game that featured an appearance by Brewers legend and baseball hall of famer Paul Molitor.

Tickets remain for most of the seven remaining Timber Rattlers home games this year. Fans may purchase tickets several ways: Over the phone at 800-WI-TIMBER or (920) 733-4152, in person at the Time Warner Cable Field Box Office, or through the internet at www.timberrattlers.com.
