WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder today announced today that they will open their 14th CHL season with a pair of home games.

The first puck will drop on Friday, October 21st versus Don McKee's Odessa Jackalopes. In four seasons, the Thunder is 2-2-2 all-time versus the Jackalopes. Wichita won the only meeting last season, 3-1 in Odessa.

Things will heat up the following night when Doug Sauter's Oklahoma City Blazers come to town to re-ignite one of the CHL's fiercest rivalries.
